Repeal of the Abortion Laws
On 25th May in Ireland where including Catholicism and conservatism are deeply entrenched, Irish people voted to repeal the eighth amendment and give women easier access to abortion. Laws related with abortion are a sensitive issue worldwide and also abortion in our country, South Korea, is enforcing to ban abortion. But I am in favor of a repeal of the abortion laws. First, people could have an undesired pregnancy. In addition, what they have a baby could be a threat to economic health. Finally, abortion will not be rampant even if it is going to legalize. That are the reason why I support abortion.
First, people could have an undesired pregnancy. Surely, people have to be careful for contraceptive when they fornicate. However they prevented to be pregnant, sometimes they could have an unwanted pregnancy. It can be occurred to all.
Second, what they have a baby could be a threat to economic health. Raising their new addition could be burden to someone. It is supporting that almost governments in the world offer financial aid or tax cuts for families that have new-born baby.
Finally, abortion will not be rampant even if it is going to legalize. Those who argue to ban abortion say that abortion will be rampant, and also those who think that abortion are immoral say that abortion infringes the dignity of life. But I think abortion is not a simple decision and abortion affects a threat to a pregnant woman. Before deciding abortion, they also have to consider their body.
I am in favor of a repeal of the abortion laws. I think freedom is another name for responsibility. Reaching to a decision, they might consider about what they will do. I support abortion.
