한국에서 일하는 외국인들이 알고싶은 것은 아마 휴일 일 것이다 그래서 추석을 소개할 것이다
One thing that foreigners in Korea are interested in, is national holiday. 
I would like to talk about Chuseok.

추석은 음력 8월 15일 이다
Chuseok is on August 15th according to the lunar callendar.

한국의 추석에는 흩어져있던 가족들이 한데모여서 맛있는 음식을 나누어 먹는다
On Chuseok, family members who have been apart gather together to share delicious food.

그중 전통음식 송편은 쌀과 곡식으로 만들어 한해의 수확을 감사 하며 나누어 먹는다
One of the traditional foods is SongPyun; a small cake made with rice and grain. 
By sharing this food, the family members say grace for the yearly harvest.

밤에는 여자들이 모여 손을 잡고 강강술래를 한다
At night, women gather around in a big circle to do a traditional dance: Ganggang Soolleh

추석에는 보름달이 떠오는데 사람들은 그것을 보며 소원을 기원한다
On Chuseok, people make wishes upon the moon (the moon is full on Chuseok)

개인적으로 추석은 가족과 함께 편안함을 느끼는 특별한 날 이다
I personally think that Chuseok is a special day. 
It's a day when everyone gets to spend quality time with their family.
