Record-breaking South Korea filibuster runs beyond 100 hours
South Korean opposition lawmakers seeking to block a government-backed "anti-terrorism" bill pushed their record-breaking filibuster into a sixth straight day of speeches in the parliamentary chamber on Sunday.
일요일 한국 야당의원들은 행정부가 지지하는 “테러방지법”을 막기 위해 6일 째 국회에서 무제한 토론(필리버스터)를 추진했다.
The filibuster began on Tuesday and had continued around the clock for more than 115 hours by Sunday afternoon, making it the world's longest, according to the Kyunghyang Shinmun newspaper.
지난 화요일 시작된 필리버스터는 일요일 오후까지 약 115 시간을 넘기며 계속되고 있는데, 경향신문에 따르면 이는 세계 최고 기록이다.

국정원은 그동안 수많은 간첩 조작사건을 만들어냈습니다. 사법살인이라는 2차 인혁당 사건, 울릉도 간첩단 사건, 재일교포 간첩 조작사건, 수지 킴 사건 등등.. 21세기에 와서도 조작은 계속되었습니다. 재판 과정 중 조작이 드러난 유우성 간첩조작 사건이 대표적입니다.
나는 간첩도 테러범도 아니니 상관없다고 말할 지 모릅니다. 그렇지 않습니다.
우연히 옛 동료를 만나 이야기했는데, 그 친구가 국정원의 의심을 받고 있었다면 당신도 감시대상이 될 수 있습니다. 평소 반갑게 인사하고 지냈던 동네 어르신의 자녀가 국정원의 의심을 받고 있었다면 국정원은 당신의 휴대폰을 감청하고 계좌를 뒤진 후 간첩 혐의를 씌울 수 있습니다.
야당 의원들이 저렇게 목이 쉬어가며 릴레이로 연설하는 이유는 공안통치 시대, 유신시대로 회귀하는 것을 막겠다는 노력이라고 봐야 합니다.
