"software" is one of difficult words for me to pronounce because it sounds like [쏴ㅎ프웨어ㄹ] rather than [소프트웨어].
I have explained features of my software shown in the movie clip below to an American girl. I was saying like.. "I have developed a language learning program in 2000. The old version had simple features. Recently, I am upgrading it into a totally new version. This version will contain lots of features that you may not be able to imagine. bla bla..."
The girl's face was getting wrinkled. Eventually, she said "Why are you keeping saying 'virgin'???"
Imagining that she might hear "This virgin will be the best one ever in the world.. bla bla", I got embarrassed more than her. Since this episode, I am minding using "version" when speaking.
~~End~~
1 line lesson, try to carefully pronounce "version[ㅂㅢㄹㅈㅢ언]", not to hear like "virgin[ㅂㅢㄹ쥔]".
