As a S. Korean, I find this to be simply embarrassing news.
남한인으로써 이건 너무 부끄러운 뉴스다

Many of the most fanatical Christians I have encountered are from South Korea. They have their own brand of crazy xians there and they are Nutz!

As an engineer and scientist I welcome this. Times are tough and now I don't have to worry about the upcoming generation of South Koreans competing for my job. Still, I have no idea what immigrant parents are going to do when they realize they rendered their children too stupid to become doctors.
공돌이+과학자로써 환영할 만한 일이다. 요즘 안그래도 힘든데 남한인들이 내 일자리를 채가지 않게되는거니 ㅋ. 그래도, 생각해보면 나중에 여기서 애키우려고 이민오는 부모들이 자기 애들이 의사가 되기에는 너무 멍청해졌다는 사실에 어떻게 대응할지 궁금해지네.

It is obvious now that South Korea wasn't worth saving.

I've lived extensively in Asia and South Korea, to me, is really a third world country with a first world overlay. People shouted me down, but there's a lot of proof, especially in religion and race, for that sentiment.
Japan is often considered out of touch and wildly xenophobic, but I've found Korea to be, at least, 20 years socially behind Japan.
나 아시아에 꽤 오래 살았는데 남한은 제3세계가 제1세계 모델을 덮어쓴거나 마찬가지임 ㅇㅇ 존나 까이는데 증거는 꽤 있음. 종교나 인종같은 부분에서.
오히려 일본이 갈라파고스고 인종차별적이라고 생각하는데 한국은 일본에 비하면 한 20년쯤 뒤떨어져있음.
