Drogba set up the charitable fund in 2007 with the aim of improving lives of children in his native Ivory Coast, and is set to open a health clinic in Abidjan later this year with the next aim to fund a number of mobile clinics which will provide medical care to remote villages 

 드록바는 2007년에 그의 국가인 코트디부아르에 있는 아이들의 삶의 향상을 위한 목표로 자선펀드를 설립했다. 그리고 최근에는 아비쟝에서 건강 클리닉을 오픈하는것을 착수했고 다음 목표로 멀리 떨어진 마을들에 의학적인 케어를 제공하기위해 이동할수 있는 클리닉들을 만드려고 기금을 모으고 있다. 

 Drogba, who celebrated his 37th birthday last week, said: ‘The clinic is nearly ready and now we are focusing on the equipment and staff to make sure we can be open and efficient as soon as possible.   

지난주에 그의 37세 생일을 축하받은 드록신은 “이 클리닉은 거의 준비되었습니다. 그리고 지금 우리는 가능한한 충분히 많은 장비와 스태프를 확보해 오픈을 확실시하게 하는데에 집중하고 있어요.” 라고 말했다. 

 'Because the project has evolved, and grown, we are now focusing on reaching more people, so building mobile clinics which can be easily maintained and run. That will make a big difference and means you can go to help people in remote villages with no other access to healthcare.' 

 이 프로젝트는 발전하고 있고 성장하고 있어요. 우리는 더 많은 사람들을 모으는데 집중하고있고 그래서 쉽게 유지할수있고 이용할수 있으며 어디로든 이동가능한 클리닉들을 세우려고 하고 있죠. 그것은 아주 큰 차이를 만들어낼것이고 이건 여러분이 건강검진을 받기 힘들던 먼 거리의 마을들의 사람들을 도울수 있다는 걸 의미하는거죠.

 The event will take place on Saturday 18 April at the Dorchester Hotel, Park Lane following our Barclays Premier League match against Manchester United, and the striker hopes to be celebrating a victory. 

 이벤트는 4월 18일 도체스터 호텔, 파크레인에서 열릴것이며 이때는 첼시의 프리미어리그 맨유전이 치뤄질 때이다. 그리고 드록바는 이 경기에있어 첼시의 승리를 축하하게되길 염원하고 계신다. 

 ‘That would be the perfect night, let’s be optimistic, and it will be a great night,’ Drogba said. ‘I’m very lucky to have a lot of people supporting the project and I know we will have a good time and make people aware of the progress we are making.
