좀더 본업에 집중하기 위해서, 평소 템포스톰 번역 업로드를 오후 2~5시정도에 하던 것을 오후 8시~12시 사이로 바꾸도록 하겠습니다. 읽는 분들에게는 별로 큰 차이는 아니겠지만, 제게는 꽤 차이가 있는 시간대입니다. ㅎㅎ;; 그리고 1~2티어 덱에 관련된 번역은 수요일 오후 8시~12시 사이에 업데이트 될 예정입니다. 앞으로도 템포스톰이 쉬지 않는한 이 페이스를 유지하고자 합니다.

As we sit on the final day of the January 2016 season, the meta has not changed. More people are playing Mid-Range Druid for the end of season push, so expect a lot of Innervated and coined out Dr. Booms on ridiculously early turns. If you aren’t running at least one copy of Big Game Hunter in your deck, you should probably consider adding one in. Aside from Mid-Range Druid, there are the usual Secret Paladins looking to Mysterious Challenger their way through the ranks.
2016년 1월시즌의 마지막 날이 되었지만 메타는 변화하지 않았다. 많은 사람들이 시즌 마지막을 달리기 위해서 미드드루를 운영하며, 따라서 많은 정자+동전 박붐’들’이 미치도록 빠른 턴에 등장할 것이 예상되는 바이다. 만일 당신이 적어도 한장의 나 이런 사냥꾼이야(일명 나이사) 카드를 덱에 쓰지 않는다면, 한장 넣는 것을 고려해봐야 할 것이다. 미드레인지 드루와는 별개로, 언제나의 파마기사들은 수수께끼의 도전자를 찾으며 그들만의 등급전을 나아가고 있다.
Why do the ranks matter? Well if you are below Legend, then your rank is likely just a matter of pride, or bragging rights on reddit. For those in Legend, they are competing to be in the Top 100 Legend for end of season ranks.
등급이 왜 중요할까? 만일 당신이 전설이 된다면, 당신의 등급은 자신감이 될 것이며 혹은 Reddit에 자랑할 거리가 될 것이다. 전설등급에서 그러한 사람들은 100등 안에 시즌 마감을 하기 위해 경쟁한다.
Although Blizzard is giving points to everyone who achieves Legend, only the top point earners for December and January will be able to compete in the first seasonal Championship of the 2016 competitive circuit. For those of you who have yet to earn any points, there are still a few Fireside Gatherings being hosted in the next two weeks that will earn the winner an automatic invite to the Seasonal Championship.
비록 블리자드가 전설을 단 모든 이에게 포인트를 주기로 했지만, 12월과 1월에 최고의 점수를 얻은 사람들만이 2016년도 첫번째 시즌 챔피언쉽 서킷에서 싸울 수 있다. 만일 당신이 아직 아무런 포인트도 얻지 못했다 하더라도, 아직 몇몇의 Fireside Gatherings(와글와글하스스톤)들이 다음 2주간 열릴 예정이며, 시즌 챔피언십에서 자동 초청받을 승자의 권리를 얻을 수 있다. (잘못 해석한건 아닌가 모르겠네요)
Back to the state of the ladder and this weeks Meta Snapshot. Not much has happened. The meta has become fairly stale and aside from a couple match-up reliant decks like Freeze Mage, which will shift up and down depending on the popularity of bad match-ups, there won’t be much movement in the ranks until a new expansion is released.
다시 등급전 현황으로 돌아가보자. 별일은 없었다. 메타는 상성에 크게 좌우되는 냉법과 같은 덱들이 상성이 나쁜 덱이 증가함에 따라서 등급이 하락한 것을 제외하고는 꽤 고착화되었다. 이는 새로운 확장팩이 등장하기 전까지는 큰 변화가 없을 것으로 보인다.
It is a fairly depressing thought, but that’s the way Hearthstone is, you get a few weeks of innovation and creativity after an expansion is released, and after a couple new decks are discovered, all the experimentation ends. Once the meta settles down, you either play the deck currently lording over the meta, or you play long enough to get bored of one deck and challenge yourself with variety. Or you play Secret Paladin.
이는 꽤나 우울한 이야기이지만, 새로운 확장팩이 등장하고 수많은 창조성과 혁신이 넘치는 몇 주간이 지나고, 몇몇의 새 덱이 발견되고 그리고 모든 실험이 끝나는, 이러한 사이클은 하스스톤이 항상 그래왔던 것이다. 일단 메타가 안정되면, 당신은 등급전을 지배하는 덱을 플레이하거나, 지겨울 정도로 한 개의 덱을 하면서 다양성이라는 자신과의 싸움을 하게 된다. 아니면 파마 기사를 하거나.
There isn’t much new this week, as the only “fresh” deck to be added is Aggro Paladin, which saw a lot of play on EU last week. Zoo has risen back to Tier 1, several different variations of this deck have found a great deal of success on ladder and it seems to be the default for players looking to grind ranks, but not wanting to play Mid-Range Druid.
이번 주에는 별로 새로운 것이 없었으며 저번 주 EU서버에서 많이 보이던 어그로 성기사만이 유일하게 추가된 “신선한” 덱이었다. 위니흑마는 1티어로 복귀했으며 다양한 변형형태의 위니흑마 덱은 등급전에서 큰 성공을 거두었으며, 이는 미드드루는 하고 싶지 않고 높은 등급을 얻고자 하는 플레이어들에는 기본적인 덱이 되었다.
Freeze Mage and Renolock fall down to the high Tier 2 ranks due to how bad the Mid-Range Druid match-up is. After all no one wants to Reno on 15 HP, but inefficient heals are all that’s keeping you in the game when your opponent can bring you down from almost half health to zero in a single turn. Freeze Mage similarly falls because of the slight increase in Warriors, and the increase in Druids. Basically what I’m saying is that there are a lot of Druids on ladder and your success will depend largely on how your deck performs against the ramp and combo potential.
냉법과 리노흑마는 2티어 상위로 떨어졌으며 이는 이 덱들이 미드드루와의 상성이 나쁘기 때문이다. 아무도 리노를 15체력에서 쓰고 싶어하지 않지만, 당신의 절반의 체력을 한 턴만에 날려버릴 수 있는 상대로는 이런 비효율적인 힐을 써야 게임을 지속할 수 있다. 냉법은 전사들의 약간의 증가 그리고 드루이드의 증가로 인해 약간 떨어졌다. 기본적으로 내가 말하고 싶은 것은, 등급전에는 수많은 드루이드들이 있으며 당신이 등급전에 성공할 수 있는지는 당신의 덱이 램프(마나부스팅)와 콤보에 얼마나 잘 대응할 수 있는지에 크게 좌우될 것이다.
